Spiritual astronomy, also referred to as religious astronomy, is a dimension of or approach towards astronomy that adopts a distinctly spiritual and religious conception or understanding of both the personal and society role of astronomy. It is deeply integral to the Astronist understanding of astronomy and the benefits of both its academic study and its general practice for it is considered to harbour spiritual growth benefits of existential proportions of fulfilment.
